China's Chang'e-3 mission hardware imaged by NASA China's Chang'e-3 lunar soft landing mission (see next blog entry) has recently been imaged from orbit by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft. In the low sun angle, the 'mothership' (upper arrow) and the rover (lower arrow) show up brightly against the dark lunar surface.
